Phones (with individual voice-mail numbers), e-mail, fax, and, of course, regular mail, ensure that contact between students and home is always convenient.

Students return home several times a year on vacations, and all students have the opportunity to leave campus for an occasional weekend home. Hotchkiss provides some assistance with travel arrangements during vacations.

Parents are welcome to visit campus at any time and especially on Parents Weekend in the fall. In addition, each student’s advisor is a key link in the School’s partnership with parents. Through both informal and formal contact, advisors help parents find the best ways to support and guide their sons and daughters as they move through Hotchkiss.
