Off-Campus Opportunities

Educational opportunities at Hotchkiss extend well beyond our campus. Students are able to learn, travel, work, and contribute to community service projects around the country and across the planet. Students interested in these programs may also apply for grants from a number of funds that exist to support travel, cultural immersion, and community-based work in the developing world.

The pages in this section cover opportunities during the school year and summertime, as well as information on planning a gap year. Research is important to ensure a rewarding experience and students are encouraged to consult with the Coordinator of International Programs.

The Coordinator will work with the Dean of Studies and a student’s teachers and advisor to ensure that off-campus experiences complement the Hotchkiss course of study. Additional guidance and information is available from the International Programs Office.
