Late Applications
Although students who complete their applications after the January 15 deadline face a much more competitive admission situation, we encourage late applications in case spaces become available in the spring and summer months.
We will do our best to render decisions on late applications received before the end of January, but cannot guarantee that they will be included in the first round of decisions mailed on March 10. Typically, late applicants receive a decision from the Admission Office in mid-April.
Though we remain open during the winter months for campus tours and encourage late applicants to visit the School, we are unable to schedule on-campus interviews during that time. However, we would be happy to arrange for an interview with a member of our Parent and Alumni Admission Council in your area. Please contact our office as soon as possible to set up the interview.
In the third week of April , and continuing throughout the
summer months, campus tours with student tour guides and interviews
with Hotchkiss admission counselors will once again be available.

Revisit Days
We believe Hotchkiss is an incredible place, but we know that both the tangible and intangible play a significant role in choosing a school that "fits." For applicants who are offered places at Hotchkiss, the revisit days provide a way get a truly in-depth look at the School. Prospective students are paired with current student hosts to experience a typical day in the life of a Hotchkiss student. Parents also spend a full day getting to know the School through panel sessions and informal conversations with administrators and faculty members. Our hope is that by the end of the revisit day, families and students will have gathered enough information to decide whether Hotchkiss is the right school for them.
This year the dates are: March 31, and April 4, 7, and 8, 2008.
