The Beal Lecture: Dr. Rob Oden on Egypt

Is there hope for Egypt in its struggles toward democracy? Dr. Rob Oden, Hotchkiss headmaster from 1989 to 1995 and a scholar with expertise in the Middle East, answered that question affirmatively when he delivered the Beal Lecture on September 18. All students are required to attend this annual lecture in current affairs. He spoke on "How We Know What We Think We Know about the Middle East."
