Educational opportunities at Hotchkiss extend well beyond our campus. Students are able to learn, travel, work, and contribute to community service projects around the country and across the planet. Hotchkiss faculty run a variety of programs over breaks that are often related to courses on campus or student clubs; our German teacher has taken students to Germany for homestays and immersion in a local high school.
Students interested in these programs may also apply for grants from a number of funds that exist to support travel, cultural immersion, andcommunity-based work in the developing world.
The pages in this section cover opportunities during the school year and summertime, as well as information on planning a gap year. Research is important to ensure a rewarding experience and students are encouraged to consult with the Director of International Programs.
