Saturday Classes and Games
The campus remains vital and active during the weekend. Saturday morning classes end at 12:05 p.m. Saturday afternoons are when you and your teammates compete against other schools throughout New England, or go to cheer on your friends from the sidelines.
Weekend Fun
-
Under headings like “Hard to Pass Up,” “Huge Weekend” and “Game Face” come the Daily Bulletin’s announcements of each weekend’s activities including: regular ski trips to nearby summits (with a stop at Dunkin' Donuts, of course), live bands, dances, stand-up comics; trips to New York City for museums, concerts, dance performances, plays, community service, shopping; celebrating multicultural holidays such as Chinese New Year and Purim; climbing-wall competitions, carnivals, movies; visiting artists conducting master classes in dance, theatre, music, and film; special class trips to an amusement park or on a Hudson River cruise; ice skating; biking; helping to build a Habitat for Humanity house.
Sundays
Sundays in general are low-key –- a chance to sleep late, go for brunch in the dining hall, and spend the afternoon with friends. Many students also attend local worship services.
