Co-curricular Activities

When classes end for the day, all Hotchkiss students participate in an organized sport or activity, called a co-curricular.

The co-curricular experience is different from clubs or student organizations, because it immerses students in a structured team activity — whether it’s playing a sport, acting in a school production, or getting hands-on experience at Fairfield Farm. The daily commitment means that students explore their chosen interest in more depth. Preps (ninth graders) are required to participate on a team for at least two seasons during their time at Hotchkiss.

The list below does not include varsity, junior varsity, or thirds athletics, all of which fulfill the co-curricular requirement. For a complete list of team sports, see Athletics.
