We look forward to working with you as you embark on this exciting time in your child’s life. While the financial aid component of the admission process can seem daunting, our goal is to alleviate your fears and assist you as you navigate through the financial aid application process.
The School has always focused on making a Hotchkiss education both accessible as well as affordable. Due to the generosity of our alumni, current and past parents, and friends of the School, this year the Office of Financial Aid allocated $8.55M in need-based aid to 221 students (37% of the student body). A portion of our budget is set aside to also assist families with non-tuition expenses such as the purchase of books, travel, insurance, and a spending stipend. For the 2012-13 school year, 147 students are receiving some form of non-tuition aid totaling $253,285.
While the School expects all families to contribute to their child’s education to the extent they are able, we are committed to being a strong supporting partner in financing your child’s Hotchkiss education.
