Initiatives
Thankfully, donors to Hotchkiss have no difficulty understanding the School's needs or the level of support required to maintain the exceptional quality of a Hotchkiss education. The School derives much of its strength from a long and healthy tradition of philanthropy. In fact, Hotchkiss would not have been able to achieve its well-deserved reputation for academic excellence without this support.
Maintaining the kind of education that we offer exacts a price, and always much remains to be done. Hotchkiss's short- and long-term goals are set by the head of school and the board of trustees. Our goal in capital giving is to support the strategic initiatives established by the head and the trustees. At their direction, we are actively seeking support over the next five years in the following key areas.
