Keith Moon came to Hotchkiss in 1989 after two years of teaching in Baltimore, MD, and has served as an instructor in English, history, Russian, and Spanish. He has also served as the director of student activities for eleven years, the dean of the classes of 2003, 2006, and 2017, and the advisor to the Hotchkiss Record from 2006-13. He has been the head coach of boys varsity swimming & diving since 1994 and coached boys varsity water polo from 1990-1998. Mr. Moon has a B.A. in Russian language and literature from Dartmouth College and an A.M. in Russian area studies from Harvard University. He is also a board member of Special Olympics CT and serves on the Salisbury Board of Education. His wife, Bridget Dixon Moon, is an instructor in math at Hotchkiss, and they have two sons who grew up here, Peter '13 (Penn '17) and Stephen '16 (Harvard '20).
