Columbia Granger's World of Poetry
Columbia Granger’s contains 250,000 poems in full-text and 450,000 citations. This features poems in multiple languages, including Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Latin. The complete works of several great poets, including Shelley, Keats, Poe, & Blake, are also available through this database. There are also numerous commentaries on individual poems that places the poem in historical context.

Credo Reference offers over 575 titles from more than 80 of the best reference publishers. This database contains encyclopedias, dictionaries, biographies, quotations, bilingual dictionaries, a crossword solver, and measurement conversions. Informé provides full-text access to over 420 popular Spanish-language magazines that range from current events to academic studies. All of the annotations are in English to assist the user and there is also a Spanish thesaurus.


JSTOR is a collection of over 1,300 academic journals ranging from the sciences, humanities, and the social sciences, and offers peer-reviewed scholarly research. This database also includes current issues for more than 150 journals. JSTOR maintains a moving window of archived material that averages 3 to 5 years.


Literary Reference Center is a comprehensive resource in all aspects of literature. This database contains more than 159,000 author biographies, nearly 100,000 articles and essays of literary criticism, 450 literary journals, and more than 632,000 book reviews. Also included are classic & contemporary short stories, author interviews, classic books, and biographies.

Oxford Language Dictionaries Online
Oxford Language Dictionaries Online (OLDO) offers almost 4.5 million words, phrases, and translations in Chinese, French, German, Italian, Russian, and Spanish.  This database also features native speaker audio, click-through verb tables and pronunciation charts, writing and word games, notes on life and culture, and usage tools and resources.

Oxford Reference Online
This database lets the user search over 320 Oxford University Press reference books at the same time. There is a wide range of titles that focus on art, history, law, religion, science, and the social sciences.


Project Muse is a collection of over 730 full-text scholarly journals. The coverage in Muse is current, from five to ten years, and has the ability to search by Library of Congress Subject Headings. Subjects range from Art to History, and from Music to Science.
