Hotchkiss Ensembles perform ambitious program May 24 at 7 p.m.

The Hotchkiss Orchestra and the school jazz ensemble, Right Brain Logic, will showcase their formidable talent as ensembles in a concert this Friday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m. in Katherine M. Elfers Hall, Esther Eastman Music Center. The concert is free and all are welcome to attend in support of these young musicians, many of whom are graduating seniors.

The acclaimed Fine Arts Quartet returns to the Hotchkiss stage, joined by pianists Fabio and Gisele Witkowski, to perform the piano quintets of Ernst von Dohnányi for the 2013 Hunt Concert, Thursday, April 18 at 7 p.m. in Katherine M. Elfers Hall, Esther Eastman Music Center.

Aternus Chamber Orchestra Debut Honors U.S. Year of Italian Culture in March 28 concert

The orchestra will feature virtuoso Italian saxophonist Gaetano Di Bacco and conductor Larry Alan Smith, who also serves as Artistic Director for the group. The concert will honor the Year of Italian Culture in the United States with music by Italian composers Giuseppe Tartini, Vincent Persichetti, Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari, Ástor Piazzolla, as well as American composer Michael White.

Pianists John and Mina Perry to offer winter concert February 10

The Hotchkiss Concert Series is pleased to welcome virtuoso pianists John and Mina Perry for a winter concert, Sunday, February 10 at 4 p.m. Both are esteemed artists, educators, and international performers. They will play a program of works by Claude Debussy, Franz Schubert, Franz Liszt, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Johannes Brahms. All are welcome to attend and admission is free.
