May 20 Hotchkiss Ensembles Concert Features Final Performances by Talented Seniors

The Hotchkiss Orchestra and the school jazz ensemble, Right Brain Logic, will showcase their formidable talent as ensembles in a concert Friday, May 20 at 7:00 p.m. in Katherine M. Elfers Hall, Esther Eastman Music Center. Each group will perform pieces they have been working on all semester. The concert is free and all are welcome to attend in support of these young musicians.

Right Brain Logic will feature unique music composed and arranged for the group by director Michael Musillami. The concert will also feature the final orchestral perofrmances of seniors Jonny Cruz Walma (piano), Kanika Gupta (violin), and Grace Cheng (cello), in addition to the world premiere performance of Soaring Swallows, composed by senior Amelia Cao. The orchestra will also perform works by Tchaikovsky, Mozart, and Verdi.

Founded in 1891, The Hotchkiss School is a coeducational boarding school, located at 11 Interlaken Road in Lakeville, Connecticut.
