Hotchkiss Celebrates its 125th Anniversary with a Photo and a Holiday

The Hotchkiss community commemorated the 125th anniversary of the day the School first opened its doors — Oct. 19, 1892 — by assembling on Bissell Common to form the number 125 for a photograph. Students, faculty, and staff donned Hotchkiss blue T-shirts and waved white pom-poms to show their School spirit. Bucky the Bearcat also made an appearance.

At the the end of the photo session, Head of School Craig Bradley announced a Holiday in honor of the occasion.

Throughout the academic year, we will highlight moments in Hotchkiss history and stories that speak to the strengths of the School. Please visit www.hotchkiss.org/125th often for updates and new content throughout the year.
