Edsel Ford Memorial Library
Archives & Special Collections
Archives & Special Collections serves as a research laboratory for students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The Hotchkiss community can view examples of fine and decorative arts, sculpture, and rare books that comprise Special Collections, displayed throughout the year in exhibits in Main Building. These exhibits are often woven into the curriculum, allowing students to engage with the collection on a deeper level. Archives serves as the School’s institutional memory, with records, publications, photographs, audiovisual recordings, and other materials that document life at the School since it first opened in 1891.
