Hotchkiss School Archives and Special Collections
Each with its own collecting goals, Hotchkiss Archives and Special Collections provides a research laboratory for Hotchkiss’s students, faculty, staff, administrators, alumni, and its wider community. The School’s Archives serves as its institutional memory, the repository of records, documents, publications, photographs, audiovisual recordings and other archival materials related to School life since 1891. Special Collections, including the fine and decorative arts, sculpture and rare books, exists because the School has long believed enjoyment, engagement and appreciation of the visual and decorative arts deepen our understanding of the world and ourselves.
