The Connecticut Regional Scholastic Art Awards is an affiliate of the Scholastic Art Awards/The Alliance For Young Artists & Writers and recognizes the work of talented young artists in Grades 7 to 12. The awards are the nation’s longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens. Student artwork is juried by professional artists and university art faculty and is selected on merit. Winners of “gold key” designations will have their artwork submitted to the national level awards competition.

This year, ten Hotchkiss students from the art program and photography, film, and related media program received thirteen awards in this year’s state competition, including four gold keys, four silver keys, and five honorable mentions.

The winning students are listed below and their artworks can be viewed together in a special Flickr gallery. Congratulations to all!
