Congratulations to the following students for achieving amazing results at the prestigious 12th International Piano Competition Maria Herrero, held in Granada, Spain, in July 2022.
Junior Category - 14 to 17 years old
Daniel Li '24 - 1st Prize
Kira Nickerson '25 - 3rd Prize
Both students performed a challenging repertoire as part of the two rounds of the competition, including works by Liszt, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, and Ginastera. They received their awards in a public prize ceremony in Granada, in which Daniel performed Ginastera's Danzas Argentinas as the 1st Prize winner. Congratulations to these hard working and talented students!
