Hotchkiss Chorus to Perform May 14 and 21
Hotchkiss Chorus performs at Hevreh of Southern Berkshire

May 21, 7:30 p.m. at Hevreh of Southern Berkshire

The Hotchkiss Chorus will be presenting a concert of Jewish music for chorus on Sunday, May 14 at 7 p.m. in the Hotchkiss Chapel at 11 Interlaken Road in Lakeville, and again on Sunday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m. at Hevreh of Southern Berkshire at 370 State Road in Great Barrington. This free concert will include secular and sacred music in both Hebrew and English from many times and places. The 40-voice chorus includes singers from all over the United States and several international students, of all faiths. The Jewish students of the chorus will be joined by Hotchkiss members of the campus Hillel group to offer personal introductions to much of the music. The chorus is led by their long time director Jack Brown, who is well known in the Berkshires as the artistic director of Berkshire Lyric and conductor of the B’Shalom Chorale of the Berkshires during the summer months.
