
The Hotchkiss School invites the community to an evening of music featuring the Hotchkiss Orchestra and the jazz ensemble Right Brain Logic on Friday, May 22 at 7 p.m. in Katherine M. Elfers Hall, Esther Eastman Music Center. Admission is free and open to all.
The Hotchkiss Orchestra, led by Fabio Witkowski, Chair of the Visual and Performing Arts Department, will perform works by Chopin, Grieg, and de Falla. The program highlights the range and depth of the student ensemble, bringing together expressive Romantic repertoire and vibrant, rhythmically driven works.
The evening will also feature Right Brain Logic, directed by Michael Musillami, instructor in jazz guitar. The ensemble will perform original compositions and arrangements by Musillami, showcasing a dynamic and collaborative approach to jazz performance. Known for its engaging style, the group offers audiences a chance to hear students actively shape and interpret the music in real time.
