Nader Tehrani '81 in a virtual classroom visit.

Throughout the spring, alumni architects including Nader Tehrani '81, Tyler Hinckley '99, and Charlotte Leib '09 conducted a series of virtual visits to the Architecture II class taught by Brad Faus. 

Nader Tehrani '81 visited on April 27. He is an award-winning architect and dean of the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture at The Cooper Union in New York. He was named Hotchkiss’s 2020-21 Alumni Award recipient and was honored during an All-School Meeting on April 5. Read more about Nader Tehrani.

Tyler Hinckley '99 presented his design work and career in architecture on May 13. He received his M.Arch from Syracuse University in 2006 and is a senior associate in the Boston studio of Perkins & Will. He is also an adjunct instructor at Boston Architectural College.

Charlotte Leib '09 visited class on May 26, focusing her talk on the field of landscape architecture in general, her professional focus on modernist urban landscape design, and her career path from Hotchkiss to Princeton to Harvard and now Yale, where she is second-year doctoral student in the department of history.
