Student Art Work Selected for National Art Honor Society 2020 Exhibits

The art work of four Hotchkiss students has been selected for the 2020 NAHS (National Art Honor Society) Juried Exhibition at the NAEA (National Art Education Association) Studio and Gallery and Virtual Gallery in Alexandria, VA. Nicole Morikawa '21, John Shin '20, and Serena Zhou '20 will exhibit their work in the Studio and Gallery January 27 - April 10, 2020. Yuka Masamura '21 will exhibit her work in the Virtual Gallery on the NAEA website January 27, 2020.

All students are board leaders of The Art Club and are members of the National Art Honor Society and as such were able to submit to this national juried student exhibition. Over 1000 submissions were received nationally with 62 works selected for exhibition in the NAEA Studio & Gallery; an additional 73 works were selected for inclusion in the NAEA Virtual Gallery. Representatives from eight member schools of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design (AICAD) participated as jurors: Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Moore College of Art & Design, Otis College of Art and Design, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and Watkins College of Art.
