Athletic Coach Details

Kira Shaikh joined the Hotchkiss community in 2021. She comes to Hotchkiss after serving as the director of community life at Stratton Mountain School located in Vermont, and previously, Lawrence Academy as a history teacher, head cross-country and softball coach, head dorm parent, and new student orientation director. Missing the classroom and sharing her love of being active, Kira is now teaching U.S. History, coaching club running and track, as well as serving as a dorm affiliate in Memorial dorm. Kira currently lives in Monahan with her dog named Gunner.
