Athletic Coach Details

Craig Naclerio joined the Hotchkiss faculty in the fall of 2022. He is an instructor in physics and chemistry, and the head coach of girls varsity hockey. Mr. Naclerio resides on campus with his wife, Jaymie, daughter, Ayda, son, Luca, and two dogs. He graduated from Loomis Chaffee in 2009 as a two-sport varsity athlete in both ice hockey (captain senior year) and lacrosse. Following Loomis Chaffee, he graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in biological sciences. Mr. Naclerio was a member of the men's Division I ice hockey team his freshman year and ended his hockey career playing on the Division II club ice hockey team. Prior to joining Hotchkiss, Mr. Naclerio worked and lived at Rumsey Hall School, a junior boarding school in Washington Depot, CT, where he was a dorm parent, a teacher of chemistry, physics, and biology, and a tri-varsity coach for girls soccer, boys ice hockey, and boys lacrosse.
