Kelsie Fralick
Originally from West Chester, PA, Ms. Fralick graduated from Hotchkiss in 2011. She then attended Connecticut College, where she played for the women's ice hockey team all four years, captaining her senior year and setting multiple program records. She double majored in classical languages and anthropology and graduated magna cum laude in 2015. Ms. Fralick was inducted into Conn's Athletic Hall of Fame in April of 2022. After graduating from Conn, she participated in the University of Pennsylvania's Independent School Teaching Residency Program at St. Paul's School, where she coached JV field hockey and ice hockey, taught Latin, and performed residential duties. In addition to the ISTR program, Ms. Fralick was a member of the Boston Pride in the inaugural NWHL (now PHF) season, winning the first Isobel Cup in 2016. After earning her M.S. Ed., Ms. Fralick worked at Blair Academy, teaching classics, coaching field hockey and lacrosse, and working in an underclassmen boys dorm. She then moved to Cushing Academy, where she taught Latin, was an assistant coach for both varsity field hockey and ice hockey teams, and performed dorm duties, most recently she was the dorm head in the largest girls’ dorm on campus.
Coaching Bio: Originally from West Chester, PA, Coach Fralick graduated from Hotchkiss in 2011. She then played for the women's hockey team at Connecticut College, captaining her senior year. By the end of her career, Coach Fralick graduated with four school records, which included a .932 save percentage, 2.06 goals against average, nine shutouts, and 32 victories. She was also nominated for the BNY Mellon Hockey Humanitarian Award her junior and senior years. After graduation, she participated in the Independent School Teaching Residency Program at St. Paul's School, where she coached JV field hockey and ice hockey, taught Latin, and performed residential duties. In addition to the ISTR program, Coach Fralick was a member of the Boston Pride in the inaugural Isobel Cup season, winning the first Isobel Cup in that season. After St. Paul's, Coach Fralick worked at Blair Academy, teaching and coaching, and most recently worked at Cushing Academy, where she was a dorm head, the Latin teacher, and an assistant coach for the varsity field hockey and ice hockey programs. In April 2022, she was inducted into Connecticut College's Athletic Hall of Fame, only one of three women's ice hockey players in the hall to date.
