Sam Salazar
Sam joined the Hotchkiss faculty in 2024 after teaching AP art & design, printmaking, sculpture, and a variety of studio art electives to upper-school students in the Philadelphia area. She earned a B.A. in fine arts at Bryn Mawr College, majoring in printmaking and sculpture and minoring in classical archaeology. She also earned an M.S. in arts administration from Drexel University. Salazar has had her artwork exhibited at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Prints for Protest - Philadelphia, and Globe Dye works. Her work has also been featured in the Austin Bat Cave Anthology and international print exchanges. Sam and her wife, Emily, an instructor in English at Hotchkiss, live in Lakeville with their two children.
