Anna Traggio joined Hotchkiss in 2003 as an assistant coach for the girls varsity lacrosse team. Mrs. Traggio graduated from Brown University in 1993 with a degree in psychology. A three-year starter at first home, she was named Honorable Mention All-Ivy in 1992 and 1993 as the second-leading points scorer both years. Since taking over the Hotchkiss girls lacrosse program in 2004, she has led the team to four Western New England Championships (2004, 2011, 2013, 2014), six Founders League Championships (2005, 2006, 2007, and 2011, 2013, 2014), and an overall record of 136-34- 1. She has coached 16 All-Americans, 17 Academic All-Americans, and a number of players who have played on one of the Lower New England tournament teams in the National Women's Tournament. She coached the Lower New England Tournament Team #1 in 2005 and 2009 and team #2 in 2006. Many of her players have moved on to play Division 1 and Division 3 lacrosse, some currently playing at Cornell, Washington and Lee, Middlebury, and Williams along with many others. She and her husband, Mike (Hotchkiss Class of '91), live in Sharon with their four children.
