Anju Taneja
Anju Taneja came to Hotchkiss in 2001 from the Kodaikanal International School in India, where she was the International Baccalaureate diploma coordinator and the high school (9-12) coordinator. In her time at Hotchkiss, she has taught AP physics, coached basketball, volleyball, and triple jump, and served as dorm faculty, excuse officer, and member of the main building team. In 2007, she helped organize the Global Connections X Conference at Hotchkiss. She has also taught in Stanford University’s IB summer program and at Maru-a-Pula school in Botswana. Additionally, she has helped develop modules for an online physics program and run online inquiry based-instruction in collaboration with science teachers in India. She holds a Ph.D. in education with a specialization in assessment, evaluation, and accountability, as well as a masters in electronics from Bombay University, India. Her children, Aradhna '04 and Abhay '09, are Hotchkiss graduates.
