Boys Soccer
Philosophy
We strive to use soccer as a vehicle for education, where students are exposed to a high caliber training environment that prepares them to play at the collegiate level and beyond but also to become better global citizens.
Our soccer program places a strong emphasis on the term, “student-athlete”, as our team members strive for excellence both in the classroom and on the field, and consistently challenge themselves to find new and meaningful ways to improve.
Through practicing teamwork, good sportsmanship, and servant leadership, we create a unified culture that is underpinned by trust, respect and care for every individual in our program. Creating that special and cherished sense of community is critical to the success of our program and is the central driving force that instills pride in our players when they take the field in Hotchkiss blue.
-- Mario Williams, Head Coach, Boys Varsity Soccer
Highlights
Facilities
The boys soccer program offers access to three playing fields, including a lighted turf field for most home games, and also provides an indoor turf facility for training in inclement weather. Other facilities include a fully-staffed weight room and training room, and an Olympic-sized swimming pool for low-impact water workouts. Players also can take advantage of a personal locker room, including team laundry services.
