At Hotchkiss we believe that education reaches beyond the boundaries of our classrooms and main building. The development of our students' non-cognitive skills; Boldness, Enthusiasm, Accountability, Respect, Commitment, Attitude, and Teamwork, or BEARCAT as we say, happens at our athletic venues on a daily basis.
We believe that there is more to the game of lacrosse than the game itself. We work the girls to be the best people, teammates, and athletes that they can be by presenting goals and challenges and supporting each other to achieve them. It is a give and take. We learn, laugh and play hard together!
I have brought my children up around these teams and they have not only taught the girls a thing or two about what it takes to be a good teammate but have been lucky enough to be on the receiving end as well.
