The Hotchkiss volleyball program is continuously looking to build on past success by seeking dedicated student athletes who understand the commitment required to compete at the highest level. Hotchkiss volleyball teams are known for their team play, scrappy defense, and good sportsmanship.
Whether it is a championship year or a rebuilding year, Hotchkiss volleyball teams compete to the last point of every match on the court. We welcome players at all levels and have three teams where players may develop their skills, enjoy the camaraderie of working together with their teammates, and strive to play with energy, enthusiasm, and good sportsmanship.
The Hotchkiss volleyball program has a long history of success, including eight New England championships (1993, 1994, 1997, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2007, 2008) and six runner-up finishes. The team has also captured 15 Founders League titles, including seven since 2000 (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011).
Hotchkiss athletes train and compete in the Forrest E. Mars Jr. Athletic Center. The facility offers a field house boasting three full volleyball courts, a fully staffed training room, a fitness center, and numerous locker rooms and team rooms. The three volleyball courts allow the teams to practice and play side-by-side, learning from each other and encouraging each other on the court.
