In this article, you will find a collection of game summaries from our various athletic programs, as posted by the coaches, captains, and managers of those teams. Thanks again to all our coaches, athletes, and managers for their hard work on and off the field:

Boys Golf (6-2)
The boys varsity golf team won four of six matches over the weekend, including a head-to-head victory over Kent on Friday and wins over South Kent, Canterbury, and T-P on Saturday. Leading the way for Hotchkiss were James Horrocks ’19, Jack Kempczinski ’20, and Jed Thomas ’19.

Sailing (11-0)
The varsity sailing team won the New England fleet championships in triumphant fashion on Lake Wononscopomuc on Sunday, edging out St. George’s behind a dominant sailing effort by Chris Lukens ’19, Gwyneth Howell ’20, Oliver Hurwitz ’21, and Elizabeth Koobatian ’19.

Girls Tennis (2-1)
Girls varsity tennis posted a pair of 9-0 sweeps, beating Loomis on Wednesday and Choate on Saturday. Kudos to doubles partners Savannah Roberts ’19 & Jennifer Li ’20, Grace Kennedy ’19 & Ginny Barnes ’19, and Meghana Annamaneni ’21 & Tara Bhandari ’21 for starting each match off with a 3-0 lead for the Bearcats. The girls JV team had a decisive 5-1-1 win over Loomis but dropped a nail-biting 4-5 decision to Choate.

Boys Tennis (3-1)
Not to be outdone, the boys tennis team posted their own set of sweeps, beating Taft 7-0 on Wednesday and Salisbury 6-0 on Friday. The Salisbury match was moved indoors as rain approached the Lakeville metro area. Special kudos to Jack Louchheim ’20, who overcame a 0-4 deficit in the first set of his #5 singles match on Wednesday to win in straight sets. The boys JV team had a similarly dominant victory, beating T-P 7-0 on Saturday. Two of the doubles teams and five of six singles players won their matches without conceding a single game!

Ultimate Frisbee (5-1)
The varsity ultimate team also notched a pair of wins, besting recent rival Middletown HS 9-4 and earning a comfortable 13-4 victory over Choate on Saturday. David Vega ’20 was a standout performer on the week, scoring points and assists in each game.
