On September 20th, the Hotchkiss boys varsity soccer team demonstrated their skills against Berkshire School.
Five minutes into the game, the Bearcats faced the opponents’ aggressive style of play, which led to the first goal appearing at the Hotchkiss’s gate. Fifteen minutes later, however, Ben Wistar ’26 was able to take a free kick and almost scored a goal against one of the strongest high school soccer teams.
The game finished after two halves with the score of 0-4.
“Our team fought till the last whistle. As for improvement, we will have to do a better job defensively in transition next time.” – Lawrence Taylor ’26 commented after the game.
