Molly Donegan scored a pair of goals to lead the girls varsity hockey team to a 2-0 home win over NMH in their season-opener on Dec. 7.

Meagan Campbell ’21 assisted on both goals as the Bearcats (1-0) put forth a dominant effort on both ends of the ice, outshooting the Hoggers 25-9 and maintaining possession for most of the three periods.

The team produced a balanced effort on offense, with 13 different Hotchkiss players registering a shot on goal.

Starting goalie Maggie Hatch ’21 stopped all nine shots she faced in a fast-paced game that saw only two penalties called for the entire game, both on the home team.

The team will host another game on Wednesday against Berkshire in preparation for the upcoming PKO tournament next weekend.
