The varsity field hockey team remained undefeated on the season with a 5-0 victory over Berkshire on Oct. 6.

Hannah Biccard ‘22 scored the first two goals for the Bearcats (5-0). The next two goals were scored by Charlotte Stoffel '23, and Avery Doran '24 added the final goal.

Hotchkiss led the Bears in penalty corners 16-1 on the day.

Biccard's first goal came with 6:35 left in the second period on a corner, with an assist from MaryHelen McCooey '25. She added a second goal in the third period on a deflection off a player's foot.

The Bearcats dominated the fourth period with three goals, with Stoffel's first goal coming at 11:34 on a give and go. She added her second at 8:34 to make it 4-0, and Doran added the final goal at 3:23 with a shot in traffic.. 

This win was also made possible through the team's defensive performance, limiting Berkshire to one shot on goal.
