Girls Varsity Basketball Wins Holiday Tournament for Second Straight Year
Bearcats earned a two-peat championship victory on Saturday, Dec. 16! The girls varsity basketball team won the annual Ethel Walker’s Holiday Basketball Tournament for the second year in a row.
The girls kicked off the tournament on Friday, Dec. 15, with a 78-36 win against Cheshire. On Saturday, they faced Miss Porter's and defeated Ethel Walker in the championship game 67-33.
Eight Bearcats played on Friday, and seven took to the court for the two games on Saturday. All of the girls played hard and never slowed down under the leadership of Head Coach Doug Kneeland '98.
