Senior Tributes: Boys Tennis

In recognition of the contributions our graduating seniors have made to our athletic programs, we offer these tributes from our coaches and some of our upper mids on each varsity team:

Max Beckwith -- Max finished his Hotchkiss tennis career (the '19 and '21 seasons) with an impressive streak of 24 singles wins and 0 losses. Max is an incredible competitor who possesses a true love for the game of tennis. He makes his teammates better, and he approaches every practice and match with a sense of purpose and tremendous focus. (Assistant Coach Joshua Smith)

Will Muse -- Will's development as a tennis player and student-athlete is noteworthy. On and off the court, Will worked tirelessly on his game over his four-year career. He is a role model for his peers and helps motivate them to reach their potential. (Smith)

Chris Tolis -- A four-year senior, Chris has been a dedicated, enthusiastic, and committed member to our tennis program. He works hard during practice, and his sportmanship is a model for his peers. This year, due to his improvement and overall development as a tennis player, Chris was given the opportunity to play on the varsity team. While he did not see much playing time, he worked hard and continued to improve his game. Chris will be missed by his coaches and teammates. (Smith)

Alex Won -- Alex was a significant contributor to our JV Boys' Tennis team during his prep year. A talented and hardworking tennis player, Alex brought depth to our overall program. This year, after having taken a significant break in his tennis career during his lower mid and upper mid years to pursue other interests, Alex returned and earned his way into the top six singles spots for our last match of the season. (Smith)
