Senior Tributes: Girls Squash

In recognition of the contributions our graduating seniors have made to our athletic programs, we offer these tributes from our coaches and some of our upper mids on each varsity team:

Meghana Annamenani: Meghana, our tennis to squash convert, is such an asset to our team and will be greatly missed. Meghana is always looking for connection, and all players are naturally drawn to her because she always has a story to tell or a funny anecdote to share. Meghana's squash is borrowed heavily from her tennis background, and we love to see her powerful serves and volleys in action! Meghana's smile and spirit will leave a lasting imprint on Bearcat squash. (Head Coach Maja Clark)

Tina Deng: Hotchkiss squash has greatly missed Tina this year! Tina came up to Varsity through our JV program. Just like everything that TIna does, she is a student of the game and has improved steadily. We wish Tina all the best next year! (Clark)

Nina Flinn: Nina has been an incredible leader this year. Always steady, always calm, always willing to play with anyone on the team, Nina leads by example and with kindness. Nina's brand of squash relies on her feel for the ball on her strings, and no one hits a higher lob or more precise drop shot. She has left a lasting mark on the Hotchkiss squash program, and we wish her well next year! (Clark)

Makayla Oas: Makayla is our co-captain and #1 on the team. She leads with determination and integrity. Makayla moves elegantly on the court and wears down her opponents with precise, hard shots. She has contributed immensely to the squash program, and we wish her the very best! (Clark)
