How do I connect using my Mac computer?
1. Make sure you are connected to the Internet by opening a browser and typing in a valid address such as “google.com” or “yahoo.com”.
2. Look for the VPN icon on the toolbar at the top of the screen and click on it.
(If you don’t see this icon, go to ”System Preferences”, click on the “Network” icon. Look for “Hotchkiss VPN” in the left pane. Single click on it and put an X in the box that says “Show VPN status in menu bar.”
3. Back out of windows to the Finder and the icon above will be displayed.
4. Click on the icon and select ‘Connect Hotchkiss VPN’.
5. Enter your Hotchkiss username and password and click OK
If none of this works for you, you can install an alternate VPN client:
1. Browse to https://vpn.hotchkiss.org
2. Sign in with your Hotchkiss credentials
3. Select, download, and install the appropriate Agent (Download Mac 32/64 bit GlobalProtect agent)
4. Complete the installation and use the server\portal address of vpn.hotchkiss.org
5. You should see a new icon in the Apple Menu (looks like a globe), click this icon and click "Connect".
6. Enter your Hotchkiss credentials to complete the connection.
