The Hotchkiss School welcomes area residents and friends of the School to use the below campus resources and attend events and performances that are open to the public.

Spaces are available for rent for special occasions, based on time of year and availability. All visitors of the campus are expected to follow the rules and guidelines of the Campus Visitors Policy.

Music, Theatre, and Dance Performances

The Arts at Hotchkiss include many live performances that are open to the public — most are free admission — both during the school year and in the summer.


The Hotchkiss Dance Company
Students studying dance choreograph and perform live, usually in the spring. Performances are open to the public and free.

The Hotchkiss Dramatic Association (HDA)
HDA presents three productions per academic year, as a learning experience for students in areas such as directing, set and lighting design, acting, and musical theater.

Summer Portals Concerts
Piano students come from around the nation and the world to study with world-renowned artists and visiting teachers.

The Edsel Ford Memorial Library

Located in the Main Building, the Ford Library offers local residents access to its collections on-site, and limited borrowing privileges. Please check the Community Access page for hours and other details.

The Tremaine Art Gallery

Located in the Main Building, the Tremaine Art Gallery hosts six exhibitions a year, all free and open to the public.

The Hixon Pool

Located in the Mars Athletic Center, the 10-lane pool is open for Salisbury and Sharon Town swim times.

​The Hotchkiss Golf Course

The Hotchkiss Golf Course is located on the south side of Route 112, west of the main entrance to campus. Designed by architect Seth Raynor in 1924, our nine-hole course is open to the public for daily play. Yearly memberships are available.
