This program is an introduction to the fundamentals of coding. Students will learn the elements of designing software and apply it to creating their own! The course will begin by introducing students to the fundamentals of coding through Scratch, and then students will have the option to continue with Scratch or learn Python. Pair programming is utilized, as are coding challenges and unplugged activities. Toward the end of the session, students will work in pairs to design and create a game of their own design.
