Hotchkiss-Lessons-and-carols-2018

The 60th annual Festival of Lessons and Carols will be held Tues., Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. in the Hotchkiss Chapel. This traditional service of holiday readings and choral music features the Hotchkiss Chorus led by faculty member Jack Brown. They will be assisted by Joe Rose, organist. Hotchkiss Chaplain and faculty member Dr. Jason Larson will lead the service.

The audience is invited to join in singing several traditional carols throughout the program. Following tradition, the evening closes with the singing of Silent Night by candlelight. This year, the chorus is assisted by student instrumentalists, two of whom were winners in the recent Music Teachers National Association state-level competition.

The audience for this event includes students, faculty, staff, family and community members. There is no admission charge, however seating is limited, so please arrive early to ensure a seat.
