Hotchkiss Students Visit Storm King and Dia Beacon
On Monday, May 5 around thirty Hotchkiss Upper-level Photography, Film and Related Media students went on a field trip to two major art venues in the Hudson Valley. The students started with a self-guided tour of Storm King Art Center, a 500-acre outdoor museum of large-scale sculptures and site-specific commissions. After a short 20-minute bus ride back across the Hudson River, three groups were each given guided tours of the 160,000 square-foot Dia Beacon Contemporary Art Museum.
