Tremaine Art Gallery's 'Perspective Narrative' Features Three Alumnae Artists
Hotchkiss Tremaine Art Gallery

The Tremaine Art Gallery presents Perspective Narrative from May 2 to June 7. The opening reception is on Friday, May 2, from 5:30-7 p.m. in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of coeducation celebration.

Three Hotchkiss alumnae artists, Megan Lee '13, Dear Liu '19, and Wan Lin Qin '17, explore the power of narrative within the context of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) identity. The works serve as windows into stories that are often shaped by cultural nuances, personal experiences, and the intersectionality of being both Asian and American.

Through each piece, these artists strive to reclaim stories that speak to the rich diversity within the AAPI community and personal perspectives that serve as creative narratives.

The Tremaine Art Gallery is located in the Main Building of The Hotchkiss School at 11 Interlaken Road, Lakeville, CT. When school is in session, it is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10-4 p.m,; Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.; and closed on Monday.
