Cal Kinnear 25 Excels at New England's Qualifying Regatta

Recently, Cal Kinnear ’25 showcased exceptional skill while representing Hotchkiss Sailing and securing a first-place finish for the third consecutive year in the ILCA 7 Laser class at the NESSA Healy Trophy National Qualifier, which was held at the American Yacht Club in Rye, NY, from Sept. 21-22. Kinnear achieved impressive first-place finishes in all nine races.

Kinnear Qualifies for Nationals

Cal secured his fourth invitation to compete in the ISSA Cressy Singlehanded National Championship in Florida at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club scheduled for Nov. 16-17. He is currently the third-ranked high school singlehanded ILCA 7 sailor in the nation after last year's competition in New Orleans at the Southern Yacht Club
