Three Hotchkiss wrestlers placed in the top four in their weight classes at this year’s Brunswick Invitational wrestling tournament.

Ben Meyers ’19 finished third at 195 pounds, and A.J. Caba ’20 and Tiki Crider ’20 each finished fourth at 138 lbs. and 160 lbs. respectively at the event, which switched to an abbreviated format in advance of the impending winter storm.

All three wrestlers reached the semifinals of their weight class draws before their first losses. Meyers won the following consolation match to finish third in his class.

Also competing for Hotchkiss were Lachlan Penfold ’22 and Simone Straus ’21 (120 lbs.), Brant Hadzima ’20 (126), Nick Adams ’19 (132), Einar Bratthal ’20 (145), Luke Kalaydjian ’20 (152), Peter Coumantaros ’20 and Charlie Knight ’20 (170), and Scott Lewis ’19 (182).
