Each year, Hotchkiss awards Book Prizes to recognize members of the prep, lower-mid, and upper-mid classes for outstanding academic achievement. These students have demonstrated mastery of relevant content, keen critical thinking, and impressive curiosity.

This year, the Books Prizes were awarded on May 30 in a ceremony after graduation. Below are the recipients of the Book Prizes, which celebrate academic achievements from the 2024-25 school year. Prizes for Humanities and Social Sciences will be presented next fall due to the nature of those specific awards.

"The awarding of prizes is both a celebration of individual excellence and an expression of our values as a learning community," Head of School Craig W. Bradley said in Walker Auditorium. "That is what this evening is about: recognizing individual students for their excellent academic achievement in particular subjects and, in so doing, expressing the value we place on outstanding academic achievement at Hotchkiss."
