Mallory Weiss ’11, who is currently earning a MFA degree in playwriting at The New School in Manhattan, visited the campus Jan. 8-11. Weiss helped to facilitate a community event on Jan. 9 in the Black Box, where she held a workshop on writing a ten-minute play, and reviewed monologue and short student readings. In the classroom, Weiss worked with lower mid theatre students helping them to craft better  monologues, create dialogues, and develop character voices. In upper mid English classes, she worked with students on the adaption, revision, and writing exercises.
