Upper-Mid College Forum Hosted Virtually Again This Year

The College Advising Office hosted its annual Upper-Mid College Forum from Jan. 20-22 virtually this year. Families and students were able to attend a variety of sessions via Zoom and heard from colleagues at Kenyon, Carleton, UVM, Penn, Haverford, and Dartmouth about various aspects of college admissions and financial aid. The two-day program featured a full range of topics, including thoughts on how the  pandemic, economy, social issues around equity and justice, access, and opportunity have impacted the current application landscape.

The forum kicked off with a student panel of seniors and recent graduates who discussed their experiences in the college admissions process. A discussion of how the application evaluation process works, a workshop on financial aid, and a college advisor conversation rounds out the program.

Students and families will soon able to view replays of the hosted sessions. Please note you will need to log in for access.
