Educational opportunities at Hotchkiss extend throughout the world thanks to our membership in Round Square, an international community of 260+ schools in 50 countries.

We welcomed two new exchange students for the fourth marking period: Luciana Pimiento '27 from the Colegio Anglo Colombiano in Bogotá, Colombia, and Layla Du Plessis '27 from St. Cyprian's School in Cape Town, South Africa.

Philip Fauver '26 is currently on exchange in Beijing at Keystone Academy, a fellow Round Square school. He just ran a half-marathon in Beijing and came in at 1:18 (sub-6-minute miles).

Hotchkiss welcomed visitors from Le Salésien in April. Our French immersion program has gone to their school in Sherbrooke for classes, home stays, and a tour of Québec City. In exchange, the Salésien ultimate team has come to Lakeville for class visits, to learn about dorm life, and get in some preseason practice. Surprise snow cancelled a tournament, so the Hotchkiss and Salésien teams scrimmaged on the Schmidt turf and then mixed up teams to share their passion for the sport.

These connections extend well beyond graduation. Aadi Kulkarni '18 (far right) went on exchange to the Anglo Colombiano in Bogotá, Colombia, in the spring of 2016. He has maintained his friendships over the years and recently hiked Snowden (the tallest mountain in Wales) with a group of friends, including one from Colombia (center).
